Each Shift in Mood is like a Fingerprint
No matter what your profile is as a Reflector, environmental sensitivity is one of our core traits. I am sure each and every one of us has felt the shifts every time we step foot outside. Depending on who is on the street in our vicinity or walking by, we feel the subtle shift.
There were times when I was in certain places, like a garden nursery, where I demonstrated the most bizarre behavior, and I couldn’t stop it; the energy was pouring out of me. It was embarrassing to the person who was with me, and it would have been to me as well if I didn’t know I was a Reflector. This allowed me, in my awareness, to shift outside it and take a look at the people who ran it. I knew something very peculiar was going on with them by the way I was acting.
I don’t ever remember being the same person in the same place, because we never see the same combination of people, so the atmospheric signature is like a fingerprint for us; our mood or personality is always going to take on a different shade or accent.
We are like detectors. If I’m in an emotionally draining environment, I will flatten right out, probably go very quiet, and quit displaying my chipper personality.
