No Expectations of Consistency, Please!

No more preaching about consistency to us....

This is the number one pet peeve people have about reflectors. They’re going to have to get over it.

People need to stop expecting every single person to be consistent, especially us. Give us things to do where we don’t have to be consistent. We will do them very well and get them all done. We won’t excel by consistency; we will burn out and be quite disappointed and so will you! What good would that do?

Don’t try to change us because it’s by design that we are this way, and we know it deep down inside. Because our spirit is high and free in non-consistency, you see!

We feel our best that way. Offer us something that will make us shine!

It's like telling a chameleon how to be a trained monkey, and the chameleon just keeps changing into a million colors, while they're telling him, "Follow suit," "Do what you're told," "show up and repeat your work." These orders are insulting to reflectors.
