Reflectors & Sex

Most Reflectors that I have known in my life have been deeply promiscuous in this life. That is, they have had a lot of sexual partners. They are sexually active, and it is rare; I know certain Reflectors in fairly stable bonds, but I imagine that their mental process is quite intensely curious.
But this is one of the things that is a byproduct of the Reflector on the physical plane when it comes to sexuality. It is not about the fulfillment of the act, the satisfaction, and the release, which is the theme of the Generator, but, of course, this is something that’s a conditioned element to the Reflector.
It is not about the success of being able to fulfill the other so that one can bask in that energy, which is the Projector, and again, something conditioned on the Reflector. It’s not the peace agreement that is the bedrock of the Manifestor.
It’s not any of those things, and yet at the same time, the Reflector takes in all of these themes, not so much from the beings in its life, but thematically from the Program and the incarnating differences that are always moving through it. What that leads to is looking for something surprising.
After all, what turns us on? It’s the connection that turns us on. It is the way in which that connection operates. Deconstruct that for a moment from all the tactile, blah, blah, blah, all that other information, but just think about what attracts you to somebody before you touch them. What can get you sexually excited before you’re near them? This is something that is there in all of us.
And to understand something about the Reflector at the deepest level is that the true sexuality of a Reflector is cosmic. It’s cosmic. It’s otherworldly. It truly is. It’s so different from the rest of us.
But of course, when we talk about, as we are, the variant sexual strategies of the not-self types, we’re all caught up in this movie. We’re all caught up in the propaganda of the genes. It’s the trap. It’s what holds us in the trap. It simply does. It is one of the most difficult aspects to come to grips with as you enter into awareness, where to place your sexuality—what kind of sexuality? Sexuality at all? I know this journey. I’m part of this journey, and it’s something that I understand very profoundly, what kind of layer of confusion this brings, not in and of itself, but how it reinforces the determination of the not-self to control the life because it’s looking for the surprise, the satisfaction, whatever the case may be, and that in that, turns all of the games it plays. The decisions it makes about who it will be with, and where it will go out and whom it will see, and whom it will work with, and it goes on and on and on. It’s infested the life at the deepest possible level."
