Not Our Voices

It's not me...

It takes me seconds to taste the energy of somebody in front of me. And while I'm tasting it, I'm feeling it. And I've noticed that my responses to certain energies, I mean what comes out of my mouth, oftentimes astonish me. So I'd started asking questions as to why this foreign tongue had emerged. It seems to me that the person's signature is always energetically all over what I'm saying. I'm literally holding a piece of that person, which mingles with my own voice. So if I'm connecting with someone or focused on them, the energy starts its transmission, and I then get an idea of what's going on within this person. So I'm working as a conduit, transferring energy, feeling it out, and reflecting it back to them in its bizarre version.

So as a reflector, we are temporarily taking on the thoughts, emotions, and speech patterns of the people we're near or with. You might even start to utter phrases that they would use, and you think, "Why am I saying this?" It's become laced with someone else's emotional flavoring, as you've performed their energy instead of expressing your own. You almost feel what it's like to be them, inside their skin, even if it's for a few seconds or minutes. And you can end up feeling quite embarrassed because it's definitely not you, and you're not being your authentic self in that moment, so you think they're going to think that's me. And it's not.

I was left shocked one time because I couldn't believe what came out of my mouth, and frankly, I didn't understand it. But at the same time I was feeling this person's energy, I was feeling very cold, very odd, very far away, and sort of devious, and this is not how I initially felt. I've come to realize that we can sound more aggressive, critical, or even confident.

It could have something to do with their defined throats, which probably lend their energy to us, filling us temporarily in through voice. When it comes out feeling alien, then you know that you're using their expressions. I have noticed that this happens more often with people who are ungrounded or more often when the person has intense energy. I've also noticed that most of them are manifesting generators.

I realize we have to cultivate the power of discernment, but most of the time when it's happened to me, It's come out of me so fast that it didn't have time to discern.
